Systems Administrator

  • Halo Pharmaceutical is currently seeking an energetic individual who is ready to be part of a growing company with a reputation for success.  We are currently hiring for a Systems Administrator to join our IT Team.


  • Ensure effective operations of the network to meet business needs, to include design of network architecture, integration and installation of IT equipment and interfacing with external support when required.
  • Provide all aspects of IT network support and administration including, but not limited to:
    • Advanced troubleshooting of desktops, server and network communication devices
    • SAN administration
    • VMware administration
    • Software/hardware installation and troubleshooting
    • User account administration
    • Database administration
    • End user and desktop support in Windows environment, including remote systems

  • Educate staff reggarding use of software, IT systems/applications/tools
  • Develop, maintain and test disaster recovery plans
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements
  • Rotate as after-hours contact and perform after-hours support as needed
  • Documents, tracks and monitors problems to ensure a timely resolution
  • Set-up and configure new and used computers and laptops for end users
  • Provide IT network support and administration
  • Performs routine tasks to maintain computer equipment and peripherals such as system defrag and cleanings 
  • Calls equipment manufacturer for on-site service for in-warranty repairs
  • Support cellular account, which includes purchases, repairs, setup, maintenance, and installation of customer applications and devices
  • Configure, install and maintain local area network hardware, software, such as PCs, notebooks, system software, software applications, printers and scanners
  • Identifies, researches and resolves technical problems
  • Perform other related duties as necessary






  • 3-5 years IT work experience in systems/network administration and/or technical support role
  • Windows Server Administration
  • Active Directory Administration
  • Network troubleshooting and administration
  • Microsoft Exchange and mobile device management
  • Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences
  • Knowledge of SAP B1 Administration is a plus
  • Programming or scripting experience preferred



  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and perform job functions with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to work and operate remote troubleshooting PC systems
  • Effective team member working toward company goals
  • High sense of urgency
  • Must be proficient in the English language


Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university)

Certification a plus



4-6 years related experience, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry
