Facilities Engineer

Regular Full-Time


The Facilities Engineer will provide support for the site’s Engineering and Maintenance departments to increase productivity and control manufacturing costs.


  • Provides technical support for the site’s Engineering and Maintenance departments.
  • Performs various functions in the TrackWise electronic system.
      • Create new equipment records, PM/Cal Schedules and Initial Calibrations.
      • Decommissions equipment and associated PM and Cal schedules.
  • Works with equipment owners and writes investigations and CAPAs for calibration failures.
      • Initiates CAPA records to resolve internal and external inspection findings.
      • Ensures IRs and CAPAs are completed on-time.
  • Manages collection, review and filing of facility recording charts according to effective SOP.
  • Manages department SOPs.
      • Ensures they remain effective. Works with SMEs to update accordingly. Tracks training.
  • Works with the Senior Process Engineer to improve/streamline the current Calibration Program.
  • Works with the Senior Maintenance Supervisor to improve/streamline the current Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Writes and executes engineering studies on the shop floor with the intention of improving operational efficiencies.
      • These studies can include cycle time reduction via implementation of new equipment and/or practices, etc.
      • Writes and circulates related reports for approval.
  • Provides assistance for new construction/renovation projects
      • Works with the Senior Facilities Engineer to support new equipment purchases and installations.
      • Works with Contractors to facilitate timely install of new utilities and facility modifications.
  • Prepares and circulates reports as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.





  • BS in Engineering



  • Experience working in a food or pharmaceutical environment preferred
  • Experience with CAD software preferred
  • 1-3 years experience
