Overview

This position contributes to the success and growth of Halo Pharmaceuticals by assisting in the implementation of the Operational Strategy, leading, coordinating and/or participating in numerous projects intended to improve our operation, having special accountability for their execution by using LSS tools, facilitating  such implementation and helping the teams to identify resources, best ways of work, KPI’s, etc. It is accountable for the success of such projects and initiatives and is seen as a valuable member of Whippany team

Responsibilities

  • Leads, coordinates and gets involved in Continuous Improvement Projects in Whippany Site
  • Works with site business functions to drive cost saving initiatives, tracks progress, maintains summary report while driving to targeted savings
  • Tracks and reports site KPIs, works with business functions to enhance performance measurement, feedback, and communication within those functions.
  • Collects information from the shop floor and analyze it to help to identify areas of opportunity and improvements.
  • Foster communication and best practices sharing between departments and sites.
  • Follow up on all processes and identify areas of opportunity and improvements, proposing and implementing changes to increase process and equipment efficiency as well as cost savings/reductions.
  • Contributes to create value stream map of relevant processes.
  • Train and/or assist training with LSS tools and other disciplines.
  • Facilitates continuous improvement projects such as Kaizen Events, Gemba Walks, and use of other LSS tools and methodologies.
  • Drives cultural and business initiatives to eliminate waste through all levels of the Whippany site.
  • Collaborates with customers and project teams to drive process improvements.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as requested.

EDUCATION:  

Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university), LSS Black Belt


 

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years in Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry
