  • Overview

    The Senior Specialist Batch Disposition works within the Quality Assurance group and is responsible batch record review, issuance and product release.  Responsible for review of proposed master Manufacturing and Packaging batch records

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Review batch records for accuracy, completeness and to identify any potential issues
    • Perform product release activities
    • Maintain/control hardcopy files for all effective master batch records.
    • Create/revise/maintain PDF versions of all master batch records.
    • Prepare/issue production records and associated batch documentation.
    • Create/revise/maintain COA/COC templates for all products.
    • Prepare department-specific metrics for management review.
    • Perform data entry activities for department databases and/or logbooks.
    • Initiate TrackWise investigations.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Strong computer skills highly preferred (i.e., Adobe Acrobat, MS Access, etc.).
    • Must be able to work weekends on occasion.
    • Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
    • Time Management - Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
    • Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
    • Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
    • Persistence - Ability to complete tasks or continue in a course of action in spite of opposition or discouragement.

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

    EXPERIENCE

    • Previous experience in Pharmaceutical product batch record review and product release, 5+ years preferred.
